Girls Camp {Beaver Ridge}

The week of July 14-17th was our Stake Girls Camp. We took these 8 cute girls into the Bear Country. We never saw a bear but we did see a deer and a million and 1/2 biting flies! Our stake theme this year was "United We Can Stand" and each ward picked a country. Our ward picked Ireland, hence the clovers on their shirts.

Even though we were constantly surrounded by flies, the area we camped at was BEAUTIFUL!
We of course had to do the traditional "Snipe Hunt". Aren't our snipe hunters so cute? Out of my many years of attending girls camp, whether as a youth or a leader, this by far was the BEST snip hunt I've seen. Lizzie I sure hope your elbow is okay from your snipe bite!
And the best part of being a leader is getting to pull pranks on all the girls. The girls didn't see the water guns coming at all! We were all sitting around in the hot sun with flies all around, little did they know we had already armed our guns with water and had them stored in our car for the perfect moment.
Unfortunately on our way home I got a flat tire. Thanks to our 1st Counselor in the Bishopric and his muscles my spare was switched out and we were back on the road. What an ending to a great week! Even though the flat tire became more drama than expected, I wouldn't have traded those 4 days with our Young Women for anything. They are all amazing!
And a huge THANKS to all our leaders and camp directors! (Liz isn't in the picture and she was the Master Mind to all this show)

What a FUN group! Love you Ladies!
