Maelyn's 2 weeks

I know its only been a few weeks with this little lady in our home but it seems like she's been here forever. Her first two weeks were spent pretty much sleeping away her time in between all our guests coming to meet her. One of our favorite guests was Grandpa Dave. He came to visit us the Sunday after Maelyn was born. It was a short visit, but we take whatever time we can get. My favorite part of newborns is catching them in all their silly sleeping positions. Her first two weeks we also had our first outing with just me and the 3 kids. We made a trip to Dr. Boud's office for Maelyn's 2 week check up. She had a great check up weighing in at 6lbs 3oz (Just an ounce bigger than birth weight) and 20 1/2 inches long (1/2 inch longer than birth). It is definitely an adjustment having such a tiny baby but she is SO much fun.. now if we can only find some clothes that fit this little noodle.
