Jackson has been looking forward to this season for awhile now. He's had the height to play for years, he just needed the age to be eligible to play. Lucky for Jacks Nate was able to coach his team. They spent every Thursday night practicing and played games every Saturday. By the end of the season the boys were getting a good hang of things. Half of the team was Jackson's buddies (Landon, Tate, Jackson Mather and Logan). My favorite thing Nate taught Jacks was to always keep the ball up. With him being so much taller than everyone else, as long as Jackson kept the ball up no one could steal it. Once the rest of the team realized they could use his height to score baskets they were unstoppable. Jacks would stand by the basket and his buddies would pass him the ball and pretty much toss it in the hoop. Jackson loved every second of it! Maelyn and Andersen on the other hand used this hour most of the time to catch a quick cat nap. Overall I think it was a good first season. We didn't win a lot of our games but it was a good experience, especially for Jacks to have Nate as his coach. Good work boys!
